Privacy Policy

1. Introduction and data controller

This Privacy Policy describes how the SkyGames application (the “Application”) collects, uses and protects your personal data.

The data controller is the publisher of the SkyGames application (a natural person), reachable at: contact@skygames.ws

As the Application is distributed worldwide, the publisher has chosen to apply the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) as a baseline level of protection for all users, wherever they are, supplemented by the international clauses below.

2. Data collected

2.1 Identity data (Google sign-in)

When you sign in with Google, the Application collects: a unique identifier (UID), your display name, your email address and the URL of your profile picture.

2.2 Preferences and profile

The following are stored in your profile: the chosen measurement system (metric / imperial), your rank, your safety rating and a first-use indicator.

2.3 Feedback (optional)

If you submit feedback through the Application, the following are transmitted: your message, the date, the application version and the platform used. You may optionally attach items related to a FlySight device: device name, track file, configuration file and logs.

2.4 Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

The Application sends analytics events to Google Firebase Analytics: sign-in, sign-out, jump recorded, Quest headset connected, screen view and feedback submitted. These events are used to understand usage of the Application and to improve it.

2.5 Data stored locally only

The following items remain stored on your device and are not transmitted to the server: jump and session recordings, the associated geolocation (GPS) data, FlySight logs and configuration files, and Quest headset connection logs.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Provision and operation of the Application, account management: performance of the service (contract).
• Analytics and feedback submission: your consent.
• Improvement of the Application and security: the publisher’s legitimate interest.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; such withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

4. Hosting and international transfers

Your account, profile and feedback data are hosted by Google Firebase (Firestore, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Analytics). This infrastructure is global and may result in your data being processed outside your country of residence, in particular in the United States.

If you use the Application from a country outside the European Union, your data is nonetheless processed under the GDPR baseline described in this policy. Transfers to Google rely on the contractual safeguards put in place by that provider.

5. Retention period

Account and profile data are kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account results in the deletion of this data. Feedback messages are kept for the time needed to process them and to follow up on requests.

6. Recipients and processors

The main processor is Google / Firebase, which hosts and processes the data on behalf of the publisher. Apart from this provider, your data is not shared with any third party, and is neither sold nor rented.

7. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR (baseline applicable to all users), you have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent.

You may exercise these rights:

• by writing to: contact@skygames.ws;
• by deleting your account directly within the Application, which erases the corresponding profile document.

A response will be provided within the time limits set by applicable regulations.

8. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

The publisher does not sell and does not “share” your personal data within the meaning of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have access and deletion rights equivalent to those described in section 7, exercisable at the same contact address.

9. Security

Communications with the server are encrypted and access to the data is restricted. Any authentication tokens are stored securely on your device. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely infallible; absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Minors

The Application is not intended for persons who have not reached the age of digital consent applicable in their country of residence (depending on the jurisdiction, between 13 and 16 years). The publisher does not knowingly collect data relating to such persons. If you believe a minor has provided data, please contact the publisher so that it can be deleted.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be modified. Any modification is indicated by updating the date shown at the top of the document. Continued use of the Application after a modification constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy.
